Dr. Shailesh Bandodkar
Dr Bandokar after having completed his MBBS in Goa Medical College went to the prestigious KEM hospital in Pune for postgraduate training in general surgery. KEM hospital offered the most comprehensive surgical training program with special training in plastic surgery, paediatric surgery, urology, neurosurgery, oncosurgery. During the last six months of his surgical training in KEM Dr Bandodkar worked as a chief resident.
Dr Bandodkar started his private practice in 2000 and has been in private practice since then.
He has done exhaustive work in management of diabetic foot, with advance wound care and foot reconstructions.
His special area of interest lies in Laparoscopic and minimal acces surgeries with
1)Laparoscopic gallbladder,
2)Laparoscopic appendectomy,
3)Laparoscopic hernia repair
being the common surgical procedure that are done, other minimal access surgeries that are offered are
4)MIPH for piles ,
5)lateral subcutaneous spincterotomy for anal fissures.
