Vision Eye Care Organized its 15th Annual Free Eye Check up for Senior Citizens and Freedom fighters at Mapusa and Panjim Centers in association with Mukta Opticians ,This camp has been held for the last 15 years by Vision Care and Mukta Opticians providing Eye health care to the public.
The 15th Annual Camp was Inaugurated by Dr.Uggam.Usgoankar ,HOD Ophthalmology ,Goa Medical College.
The occasion was graced by Mr.Jaganath.Manerkar,Prof.Ravi Fugeri ,Mr.Ratnapal Salkar,Mr. Isani,Mr.Prakash Pliankar ,Rotary Club of Mapusa Elite and other dignities .
Dr.Chandrakant.Shetye thanked the public for their continued support they have provided all these years and also updated the public regarding the new developments with regards to Vision Hospital In patient block with State of art technology ,infrastructure that is provided with high quality standards at an affordable price to the public,And also briefed the patients on the latest technology in the world of Ophthalmology that is present in Vision Care.
Dr.Chandrakant .Shetye and Dr Abishek Bawdekar along with Vision Care team examined over 200 patients ,Counseling regarding Eye care and Eye care procedures were given to the patients ,around 35 patients were diagnosed with Cataract ,those diagnosed with Cataract were offered discount on surgery charges,
Over 75 patients were found with refractive errors ,
Free spectacles were distributed to the needy patients by Mukta Opticians.
