Working Experience And Expertise:

Dr. Mahaldar has been practicing as Consultant Nephrologist in Goa since 2010 and was instrumental in starting Kidney Transplant Program at Goa Medical College. He has been actively involved in teaching Post graduates and he is at the forefront of conducting Continuing Medical Education Programmes for Practicing doctors.
Dr. Mahaldar has published more than a dozen articles in National and International Medical Journals and is a member of a number of professional bodies including : Indian Society of Nephrology , Peritoneal Dialysis Society of India, American Society Of Nephrology, European Renal Association : EDTA, International Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Mahaldar’s area of Clinical expertise include Kidney Disorders, Dialysis, Kidney Transplantation and expert management of Diabetes and Hypertension to prevent kidney disease.Dr. Mahaldar is adept at vascular access for hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis Access and Kidney Biopsy. Home Dialysis, Prevention in Nephrology and Deceased Donor Kidney Transplants are his areas of special interest.
