M.S., DNB, DOMS, FCPS Glaucoma Fellow (University of Kentucky, USA)

Dr Ritu received the Gold medal in final MBBS from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 1992. She completed her MS Ophthalmology from LTMGH, Sion Hospital,Mumbai in 1997.She then went on to do her Glaucoma Fellowship from University of Kentucky, USA in 1999.

She was Senior Consultant in Cataract & Glaucoma Service of Shroff Eye Centre, New Delhi for 18 years. She has presented many papers in national & international conferences.

Her areas of interest are Cataract & Glaucoma. She regularly performs lasers for glaucoma patients, Phacoemulsification ( stitchless cataract surgery ), Trabeculectomy with MMC ( for Glaucoma ) , Combined Phaco-Trabs ( for Cataract & Glaucoma ) and procedures for painful blind eyes at Vision Care.
