Dr. V. N. Jindal, M.S., MCh, a highly established name in the field of Neurosurgery. Dr. V. N. Jindal came to Goa in 1983, and joined Goa Medical College, fresh as a neurosurgeon, after being trained extensively in conducting complicated neurosurgical procedures at the prestigious P.G.I. Chandigarh. For almost a decade, Dr. Jindal ran the neurosurgery department single-handedly, which was the first super-speciality established at the Goa Medical College.

He then joined the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science Lucknow, where he completed his M.Ch. The SGPGIMS, department of Neurosurgery has 91 beds with a 100% occupancy.
